There are storms in life that leave your world turned upside down.
Whether literal or figurative, it will leave you with a frown.
But, look out for the light that follows closely behind,
the neighbors, friends and family chipping in and being kind.
They’ll offer thoughts and prayers and even a meal or two.
They clean up and rebuild and give a boost to push you through.
If you need a happy thought to help you sleep and to feel warm,
Rather look for the damage, see the light after the storm.
